Roles

Tools

HTML5, CSS3, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Visio

Description

This was a redesign effort of a corporate medical website. The redesign's goals were to update to modern web standards and break it into different web properties, such as a patient's portal and physician's portal. I reviewed existing content, web traffic reports, and competitor sites to create a recommendation for the site's design, content, and online marketing strategy. Based on the web traffic reports, I created the site's user interface, visual design, information architecture, user flows, and wrote a basic testing plan.

I met with the various LOBs to go over the plans and gather content and develop designs. I worked with the development team to design a template system and overall code structure. I wrote the HTML and CSS during the initial implementation and ensured the front end code followed Section 508 accessibility standards and was cross browser tweaked for the relevant modern browsers. I also developed a SEO and SEM plan.
